Chris Pye | Guide Newfoundland
Chris was born and raised in Flat Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, where he developed a deep connection to the outdoors at an early age. Much of his childhood and youth were spent hunting, trapping, and fishing with his father and uncles. A lifelong avid hunter, Chris obtained his guide license in 2019 and has since completed many successful seasons guiding moose, caribou, and bear hunts in Western Newfoundland. In recent years, he has also expanded his guiding experience to include Atlantic salmon fishing and has proudly assisted local community organizations in hosting youth fishing seminars. Outside of guiding, Chris spends as much time as possible on the land, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, snowmobiling, and hiking. He is especially grateful to share his knowledge, skills, and passion for the outdoors with his two young sons.
